U. S. Cryogenics strives to maintain close
relationships with industry related organizations. Below is a
brief listing of our credentials and affiliations.
International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
ISO is an international standard-setting
body composed of one representative from each of
its 157 member countries’ standards organizations.
Founded in 1947, the organization determines and
distributes world-wide industrial and commercial
standards.
Our current ISO 9001:2000 certification is
valid from September 6, 2007 through September 5, 2010. To view

The Cryogenic Society of America, Inc. (CSA)
The CSA is a non-profit technical society
serving all those interested in any phase of cryogenics--the
art and science of achieving extremely low temperatures.
The CSA is the only full-time technical society and
trade association concerned solely with cryogenics.
As a Corporate Sustaining Member and Research
Partner, U. S. Cryogenics has partnered with the CSA to create
the Cryogenic
Treatment Database, providing a research-driven portal
for the cryogenic processing industry.
ASM International, The Materials Information Society
ASM is the largest technical
organization concerned directly with
metallurgy, with over 125 chapters throughout
the United States and Canada. Its programs
and publications are devoted to all aspects
of metallurgy, but emphasize phases in
the fields of physical metallurgy.
U.
S. Cryogenics holds memberships in several
aspects of ASM International. In addition
to the main industry organization, ASM
International, The Materials Information
Society, U. S. Cryogenics also has memberships
with the Cryogenics Subcommittee,
the affiliated Heat Treating Society and
the Oak Ridge, TN Chapter.
Cryogenic Subcommittee
The Cryogenic Subcommittee represents a distinct group that
focuses on research and the furthering of the cryogenic services
industry, promoting education and participation in the field.
Heat Treating Society (HTS)
The Heat Treating Society was established as an affiliate society
of ASM International in 1994. Originally founded in 1913 as “The
Steel Treaters Club”, the HTS now serves as the world’s
largest network of heat treaters dedicated to education, communication
and services in the global heat treating community.
Oak Ridge, TN Chapter
