cryogenic equipment

U. S. Cryogenics offers a complete line of cryogenic equipment. Listed below are the items most sought after, but be sure to contact us to discuss all of your cryogenic equipment needs.

Cryogenic tanks
Whether your storage needs include bulk storage tanks or moveable liquid cylinders, U. S. Cryogenics has a solution for you. From horizontal and vertical bulk tanks built to your specifications to liquid cylinders in 180 liter, 200 liter, 240 liter and 265 liter sizes, U. S. Cryogenics can provide the storage option that best suits your needs.

Vacuum jacketed hose and piping
When a liquid cryogen (nitrogen, helium, carbon dioxide) needs to be transferred from a large tank to smaller vessels or to its point of use, vacuum jacketed piping and hose is warranted. The vacuum insulation allows your central storage tank to be dispersed throughout your facility in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner. Rigid vacuum insulated piping is manufactured with a maximum inside diameter of 4 inches. For the vacuum insulated bendable hose, the maximum inside diameter is 2 inches.

Dewars
Dewars can be considered a bottle within a bottle, sealed at the neck. The space between the bottles is evacuated to form a vacuum in order to minimize conduction and convection of heat. Lab dewars are primarily used to store liquid cryogens, like liquid nitrogen. They come in a variety of sizes. Bio dewars are used for the storage of biological samples at cryogenic temperatures. The bio dewars we offer can hold up to 1,800 2ml. samples at cryogenic temperatures for 255 days. Custom dewars for liquid nitrogen can also be designed and manufactured to meet your specific needs.

Liquid helium transfer equipment
Liquid helium requires special handling and special equipment to maximize its use. U. S. Cryogenics offers bulk transfer hoses, manifolds, cryostat stingers and dewar fill hoses for these special needs.

Cryogenic valves and system controls
To help with your cryogenic fluid management, U. S. Cryogenics offers cryogenic regulators, optimizers and phase separators. The addition of vacuum jacketed shut off valves, pressure regulating valves, and back pressure valves will help keep your cryogenic system safe and efficient.
